1Who we are
V Gold Silver ("we", "our", "us") is a gold and silver jewellery maker at Mahamandir, Jodhpur, Rajasthan, India. The V Gold Silver app lets our customers view live gold and silver rates, browse our jewellery, request custom designs and contact us.
The app does not process payments, card details or in-app purchases.
2Information we collect
Information you give us when you register

Information collected automatically
- Device information – device model, operating system version and app version, used to keep the app secure and working correctly.
- Push notification token – if you allow notifications, so we can send rate alerts and account updates.
We do not collect your location, contacts, browsing history or any advertising identifier, and we do not track you across other apps or websites.
3How we use your information
- To create and manage your account and verify you as our customer.
- To show you our live rates and keep you signed in.
- To send notifications you have allowed, such as rate updates and account approval.
- To respond to your calls, WhatsApp messages and support requests.
- To keep the app secure and to meet our legal obligations.
We never sell your personal information and we do not use it for advertising.
4App permissions
Notifications
Optional. Used for rate alerts and account updates. You can turn them off at any time in your phone settings.
Photos / Camera
Optional. Only used when you choose to upload a photo for a custom design, a KYC document or a profile photo.
5Third-party services
We use a small number of trusted providers to run the app. They process data only on our behalf:
- Google Firebase Cloud Messaging – delivering push notifications.
- Amazon Web Services (AWS) – secure hosting of our servers, database and uploaded documents.
- WhatsApp / Phone – only when you tap a call or WhatsApp button, which opens that app on your device.
6Data retention
We keep your account information while your account is active. When you delete your account, your personal information and uploaded documents are permanently deleted. Records of completed transactions may be kept without your personal details for as long as Indian tax and accounting law requires.
7Security
- All data is sent over encrypted HTTPS connections.
- Passwords are stored only as secure hashes.
- Access to customer data is limited to authorised V Gold Silver staff.
8Your rights & account deletion
You can view and update your details in the app, ask us for a copy of your data, or ask us to correct it.
You can delete your account at any time inside the app (Profile → Delete Account), or by contacting us. See how to delete your account.
9Children
The app is meant for business customers aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
10Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. Important changes will also be shown in the app.
